Featuring Chip Timing

 The following event timing and related equipment rental and services are available through Run Houston Timing:

 

TIMING SERVICES:
Professional timing services for any distance road race, including everything from 5K's to marathons to ultra-events. We can provide up to 5 split lines. We provide quick and accurate results!

 

COMPUTER CHIPS:
Run Houston Timing offers four pricing levels with the use of our computer timing chips. Our chips work under a radio frequency system which ensures accurate results. WILL PROVIDE SPECIFIC PRICING FOR EACH OPTION FOR YOUR EVENT ONCE WE KNOW THE NUMBER OF ANTICIPATED PARTICIPANTS.

 

TBD PER REGISTERED AND CHIPPED PARTICIPANT PRICING - we will provide a chip that WE adhere to the back of your bibs. We will return these chipped bibs to you in time for your packet pick up. Runners do NOT remove the chip from the back of the bib on event day. 

 

TBD PER REGISTERED AND CHIPPED PARTICIPATE PRICING - we will provide per participant pricing to provide a chip that WE adhered to the front of your bibs. We will return these chipped bibs to you in time for your first packet pick up. Runners are required to remove the chip from the front of the bib and place it on their shoe on event day. We provide ties to make this easy. You are NOT required to collect these chips at the end of your event. We do however provide buckets and snipes available for those runners who choose to remove them and recycle.

 

TBD PER REGISTERED AND CHIPPED PARTICIPANT PRICING - we will provide per participant pricing to provide a chip that YOU are responsible to place on your bibs or in their packets prior to distributing to your participants. Runners are required to remove the chip from their bibs or packet and place it on their shoe. You are NOT required to collect these chips at the end of your event. We do however provide buckets and snipes available for those runners who choose to remove them and recycle. Any unused chips will not charge for.

 

TBD PER REGISTERED AND CHIPPED PARTICIPANT PRICING - we will provide per participant pricing to provide a chip on race morning for your volunteers to hand out, only takes one volunteer to accommodate every 200 runners. Runners will tie the chip on their shoe on event day. We provide ties to make this easy. At the finish line we request that you provide volunteers to collect these chips as participates cross the finish line. We will provide buckets and snips to facilitate this.

 

DATABASE MANAGEMENT
With either reusable or disposable timing chips/tags we provide the following service:

With access to your online registration site or an email from you with your registration data in an Excel Spreadsheet we will assign bib numbers and timing chips/tags. We will place labels with runner data on the front of each bib. We will return these bibs to you with a completed participant database of all registered participants to date. This report can be provided electronically (sorting available) or in printed format. In addition we will input all paper registration forms into your race database. For an additional fee of $200.00 a day we can provide data entry at packet pick up and on race day.

EQUIPMENT FOR RENT:

$200.00 - 1 Call Out Computer and Large Monitor - where a runner passes a mat near the finish and their name is displayed on a large monitor for your volunteer to call out as they finish the race.
$50.00 - 1 Large Monitor Displaying Event Results by Event and Age Group, $90 for 2.
$150.00 - $325.00 - 1 START/FINISH Structures - includes set up and tear down.
$50.00 - 1 single sided clock.
